How do I schedule a pickup?

What happens to my equipment when it leaves our facilities?
Ewaste Pickups maintains a strict chain of custody when handling your EOL IT equipment. An Ewaste Pickups truck driven by an Ewaste Pickups employee will pick up your retired equipment and transport it directly back to the nearest Ewaste Pickups facility. At that point a certified Ewaste Pickups technician will begin the processing of your equipment, so that everything from pickup to disposition is performed by a vetted Ewaste Pickups employee. What condition does my equipment need to be in for Ewaste Pickups to take it?
Ewaste Pickups is a fully certified UNIVERSAL WASTE LARGE QUANTITY HANDLER, meaning we will take ANYTHING with a plug in ANY CONDITION. If you have an item that you are unsure about please contact your local Ewaste Pickups specialist for clarification.
What type of equipment does Ewaste Pickups accept?
Ewaste Pickups was founded on the principle that if you make it easy for people to do the right thing with their retired electronics, they will. This is demonstrated through our policy of accepting all types of electronic equipment, in any condition. We like to say “ANYTHING WITH A PLUG IN ANY CONDITION”.
Does Ewaste Pickups hold collection events?
Absolutely! Collection events are a key component of Ewaste Pickups, and are held regularly throughout the areas we cover. Samples of some of the different types of events we hold include corporate events, municipal events, and school events. Will any of the equipment be donated?
Ewaste Pickups maintains a regular and consistent donation program to help provide vital access to technology for those in need. We work with schools, NPO’S, and individuals in need. Does anyone other than an Ewaste Pickups employee touch or handle my equipment?
As part of our commitment to all of our partners, we ensure that all equipment is handled entirely by Ewaste Pickups employees. Starting with on-site pick-up by an Ewaste Pickups employee through trucking, transportation, and processing your EOL Equipment is handled entirely by Ewaste Pickups employees. All Ewaste Pickups employees are regularly vetted and checked for quality assurance. Once equipment is prepared for reuse or de-manufacture and final recycling, Ewaste Pickups has relationships with top tier downstream vendors.
What documentation do I receive after my equipment is removed?
Depending on which Ewaste Pickups Program you have chosen, there are different types of reporting that we provide to specific customers based on specific their requests. However, as part of our SOP, every client will receive a BOL on site with a UNIQUE JOB ID #, a COD and a COR linked to that pick-up by that unique JOB ID #. What do I need to do for preparation before Ewaste Pickups arrives at my facility?

Yes, Ewaste Pickups has its own trucks and truck drivers. This allows for a strict chain of custody assuring the safe pickup and removal of your equipment.
What happens to my hard drives?
DATA SECURITY and the proper and compliant handling of all data bearing devices is the the top priority of Ewaste Pickups. We have invested significant amounts of time, resources, and manpower in the development of a state of the art data security system, where the main objective is to allow our clients to rest easy knowing Ewaste Pickups is committed to ensuring that all potentially sensitive data is wiped and/or destroyed in accordance with top industry standards and all local, state, and federal guidelines surrounding data security.
